The engine on the FZS is a 149 cc, 1-cylinder fuel injected motor, producing 12.9 BHP and 12.8 NM of torque. The motor has been refined and returns a mileage of 45 kmpl. The bike comes with 267 mm hydraulic disc brake at the front and a drum brake for the rear. The wide tyres have always been its pride and the Matt Green shade sells for INR 82,659 making it 1,000 over the other shades.

Othewise buy Saluto which is value for Money. I own it & its really worth buying this.

Looks are awesome for Saluto where as Shine looks outdated with its graphics.

Technical are good for Saluto for city commuting and even for long drives. Saluto is giving me good experience. 

The better bike for your budget and long term use is the Honda CB Shine. The bike comes with a 124.7 cc engine, producing 10.12 BHP @ 7,500 rpm and 10.54 NM @ 5,500 rpm. The power values of Shine are much better than Saluto's figures, making it more powerful and comfortable to ride. More BHP makes your top speed more whereas more torque increases the weight carrying capacity. With these values, two persons on a bike can ride more smoothly than the Yamaha Saluto's values. Shine gets a 4-speed gearbox and comes with an option of CBS(Combi Braking System), making it more practical and safe to use. It comes with a price tag of INR 55,559.

2014 Honda CB Shine - Winner's Choice

Considering all the aspects of motorbiking, the KTM RC390 would be a better option than Yamaha R3. The strongest factor for this would be the price tag, which sees a difference of INR 1.10 lakh in both the bikes. KTM RC390 produces more power from its single cylinder 373.2 cc motor, making out 43 BHP and 35 NM of torque. It comes with ABS for both wheels and dual projector headlamps, making it a better choice than the R3. Also, it comes with USD forks instead on conventional ones on the R3. On the other hand, R3 has a twin cylinder motor, making it good for long rides and comes with a bigger fuel tank also. I would suggest KTM RC390 as your new bike.

The KTM RC390 would be a definite winner for the first 100 kmph as it completes the same in 5.7 seconds. It becomes a winner in the practicality and real life utility of the motorcycle. You should also prefer the same.

The reason behind the delay of Yamaha XMAX is the absence of the segment of scooters which XMAX belongs to, which even more specifically requires extensive testing and cost cutting measures to bring the scooter in an Indian accepted pricing values. These types of scooters retails for $4000 and above, making them nearly INR 2,50,000 for the Indian market. The prices are to be taken down with more localization and component replacements, which takes really a lot of time for the manufacturers.
