Range anxiety? What range anxiety? I charge once a week and commute 30km a day. That's more than enough for city use.

It's definitely an issue. If I need to make an unexpected trip, I always get stressed about finding a charging point. It’s just more convenient to have a petrol scoot.

The indicator is wildly inaccurate, but range is fine. I’ve learned to always have a 20% buffer in case.

It depends on your commute, I think. It’s great if you have a fixed routine. The range can be limiting, but if you need flexibility, that’s ok.

It’s real, but it’s largely psychological rather than practical. It’s no big deal after a few weeks, you get used to planning your trips.

In winter the range is okay but in summer it drops quite a bit. When you can't use AC in your car and then have to worry about scooter range, that's frustrating.

The sport mode kills the range, I've found. Stay on eco mode and you will easily hit 130 – 140km. It’s more than enough for most people.

I have the Chetak in a hilly area and it works its way up inclines quite well. You won't expect it to zoom with a pillion.

It’s what you dream about in heavy traffic. It is easy to maneuver, the low speed balance and instant torque makes it easy. It’s way better than my old petrol scooter.

On steep roads it struggles, especially in Eco mode. The range is eaten into because I have to switch to Sport. Bit of a trade-off.

It's okay for performance, but it gets hot fast in stop and go traffic. In these conditions I worry about long term reliability.

Downhills have great regenerative braking. If you plan your route right, you can actually get a bit of range.

Solo riding is perfectly fine, but add a pillion and the performance drops noticeably. If you often ride with someone, this is something to consider.
In heavy traffic and on steep inclines, how does the Chetak 3201 perform?

It handles better than petrol scooters in traffic, I find. With a low center of gravity and smooth power delivery, it’s easy to filter through jams.

At first, charging is a bit of a mystery. I wish the indicators were a little more straightforward for non tech people.
