Much Needed Makeover - New Maruti Swift

After the successful launch of A-Star, WagonR, Alto K10 and Ritz, Maruti Suzuki India has launched the 2011 model of its popular hatchback Swift in Indian Market. Prices start from 4.22 lakhs for the base model of petrol. Maruti's all-new lighter, longer and more spacious 2011 New Swift went on sale in the UK in September, 2010 promising better dynamics, increased performance and improved CO2 emissions and economy. It is powered by same petrol engine and diesel engine, which powered the 2010 Swift but have been fine-tuned for better fuel efficiency.

Price of 2011 New Maruti Swift

- New Maruti Swift Petrol LXi - Rs. 4,22,000
- New Maruti Swift Petrol VXi - Rs. 4,76,000
- New Maruti Swift Petrol ZXi - Rs. 5,53,000

- New Maruti Swift Diesel LDi - Rs. 5,17,000
- New Maruti Swift Diesel VDi - Rs. 5,61,000
- New Maruti Swift Diesel ZDi - Rs. 6,38,000

These are ex-showroom prices in New Delhi. The base variant of Swift petrol (LXi) is priced at Rs. 4.22 lakhs and base model of Swift diesel (LDi) is priced at Rs. 5.17 lakhs. It is a little bit overpriced in comparison to other cars in this segment. Also, the base model has no power windows, central locking system and music system.

  I have a ZXI SWIFT An I get a Milage of 18.4 without ac in city an 17 in city with ac with light foot driving .its a rock solid car to drive .

  I Own a swift VDI for more than a year and I adore the performance of the car... but to be frank this is not a value for money car however we can choose the car for some reasons like Maruti's Service Network, Resale value & for One of the best in class FIAT's DDIS Diesel engine.

  Maruti Swift is available at any time. Only dealers are doing for this car bad job. only dealers taking on Rs. 30,000/- to 40,000/- Rs. If you pay on so they are giving car on ready delivery. The company loosing his credit. Why company not taking action on all that dealers ? Why customers pay on ?

  no car like a swift diesel. it has power and style and performance is excellent. i have fiesta, i20, swift diesel and polo. but i love the swift the most... i cannot think of a substitute for swift. the old model does not have such goo interiors but the new one makes up for it. the new swift is a perfect blend of style and performance. though i20 has a powerful engine but the swift is way better to drive.

  I own a swift vdi.. Itz ntng much a superb car.. I say it values money nt only in sense of givin featrs bt also in terms of its high resale value.. No othr hatchback of its cls cud compete wid its resale value and al over its a belif dat swift rockzz n rockz n rockzz.. Viewrz.. Comon buy a brand new swift n alter it to d max n start ur xtreme njoymnt..
