After the successful launch of A-Star, WagonR, Alto K10 and Ritz, Maruti Suzuki India has launched the 2011 model of its popular hatchback Swift in Indian Market. Prices start from 4.22 lakhs for the base model of petrol. Maruti's all-new lighter, longer and more spacious 2011 New Swift went on sale in the UK in September, 2010 promising better dynamics, increased performance and improved CO2 emissions and economy. It is powered by same petrol engine and diesel engine, which powered the 2010 Swift but have been fine-tuned for better fuel efficiency.

Maruti Suzuki Swift has always been a handsome looking and one of the most lovable cars in India. 2011 New Swift has taken a step further in terms of styling, and it looks much better and bigger in comparison to the 2010 model. The interiors of new 2011 Maruti Suzuki Swift are all-new and has no resemblance with the 2010 model. The orange back-lit central console looks very cool and gives a feel of a premium hatchback. The only sore point is that the rear legroom and boot space is still very less, though Suzuki engineers have managed to increase the rear legroom by 20mm and foot space by 28mm, but it is less in comparison to other big hatchbacks like Hyundai i20 and Honda Jazz.
