Cheaper Version of Nissan Evalia
Friday, June 15, 2012Ashok Leyland revealed its first multi-purpose vehicle 'Stile' at the Auto Expo 2012 in New Delhi. It is basically a cheaper version of Nissan Evalia (NV200) which will be on sale in coming months. Ashok Leyland Stile is a proper 7-seater vehicle featuring sliding doors to access rear seats. In terms of looks and styling it is almost same in comparison to the Nissan Evalia sans the front grille and logos. It will also do away with lots of safety and comfort features like automatic climate control system, SRS airbags, Anti-lock braking system, Electronic brake distribution, Electrically adjustable ORVMs and dash integrated music system. It is expected that Ashok Leyland Stile will be priced around eight lakh rupees and will be on sale in coming months. It is also expected that Ashok Leyland will also introduce CNG variant of Stile, which will be launched after the launch the diesel variant. The diesel variant will be powered by the same diesel engine which powers the Nissan Sunny.
