Yamaha India Planning to Launch Ray Z on 24th May

The Indian subsidiary of Japanese bike maker 'Yamaha' is planning to launch a new automatic scooters in India. The expected launch of this new scooter is on the 24th of May 2013. The upcoming automatic scooter will be called the 'Ray Z' and will target the male audience. Sources are telling that the scooter is a retuned version of Yamaha Ray’s 113cc motorcycle and will feature a 125cc engine. Its ‘male specific’ design will be accompanied by higher saddle height as well as with an optional disc brake.

Also Yamaha is expected to price the new scooter marginally higher than that of the Ray 110cc variant. Yamaha is currently selling the Ray 110cc automatic scooter in India, which targets the female audience. Also the Indian bike enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for the launch of the Yamaha YZF-R250.
