Suzuki Let’s 110cc Automatic Scooter Bookings Open

At the Delhi Motor Show held in February 2014, Suzuki has showcased the 'Let's 110cc', an automatic scooter to compete with the other two-wheelers in the market. It is expected to be launch by the end of April. But the bookings of this scooter are now open for the customers. There are no details about the booking amount yet. In the terms of price, it is expected to be priced lower than the 125cc scooters, which will put it into a queue of cheapest range scooters sold in India.

Let's 110cc is a lightweight two-wheeler with better fuel efficiency and lower price, which makes it very easy to manoeuvre. It comes with a 4-stroke single cylinder engine which generates the peak power of 8.7bhp at 7500rpm and peak torque of 9Nm at 5500rpm. It is equipped with drum brakes on both the wheels and CVT gearbox. Talking about its exterior, it has a telescopic front forks for better ride and handling. Ground clearance of the Let's is 160mm and its fuel tank capacity is 5.2-litre.

Suzuki Let's will give tough competition to the market leader Honda Activa which is powered by similar engine displacements, generates the maximum power of 8bhp at 7500rpm and peak torque of 8.74Nm at 5500rpm which is little less than the new Suzuki Let's 110cc. Honda Activa missed the feature of telescopic forks and it also weighs higher than Let's. Moreover, Activa has a sturdy build and it is the most selling scooter in the Indian market till now. Other features of Honda Activa includes low fuel indicator, low oil indicator, passenger footrest, alloys wheels, self start etc. It gives a city mileage of 45kmpl and highway mileage of 60kmpl.
