Suzuki Gixxer SF Revealed at INR 83,439

Top selling four wheeler manufacturer, Suzuki India has launched the fully faired version of naked bike 'Suzuki Gixxer' by the name of 'Gixxer SF'. This sports bike follow the same engine, chassis, features and suspension as available in the previous motorcycle. It has been priced at INR 83,439 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It comes in 3 color options like Glass Sparkle Black, Pearl Mirage White and Metallic Triton Blue. This new bike will give a tough competition to Honda CBR150R, Yamaha R15, Bajaj Pulsar RS200 and Hero Karizma ZMR.

This sports bike is powered by a 154.9 cc, 4-stroke, 1-cylinder, air-cooled engine which throws out a maximum power of 14.6 BHP @ 8000 rpm and kicks out a maximum torque of 14 NM @ 6000 rpm. Its engine is mated to 5 Speed, manual transmission. The braking duties are managed by 266mm disc at front and drum at rear. The suspension system includes telescopic forks at front and 7-step adjustable rear mono-shock at the rear end. The company has designed this motor cycle with the dimensions of 2050x785x1085mm and carries a kerb weight of 139 kg. The seat height is 780mm and has a ground clearance of 160mm and wheelbase of 1330mm.

The Suzuki Gixxer SF is equipped with an all-digital instrument console which comprises of a odometer, speedometer, tachometer, trip meter and a digital fuel gauge. Suzuki has used alloy wheels where front tyre measures 100/80-R17 and rear one is 140/60-R17. Its fuel tank capacity is 12 litres. It has a bore of 56.0 mm and stroke of 62.9 mm. The company has also launched a MotoGP version of Gixxer SF, which carries an approximate ex-showroom price tag of INR 85,200.
