Piaggio to Officially Launch the Vespa S in India on 4th March
Piaggio is all set to launch its new variant of Vespa dubbed as 'Vespa S' in Indian market. Its expected date of launch is March 4, 2014. It will be available in four color choice including Red, Orange, Matte and White. While Bookings are already open for the Indian customers. Earlier Piaggio hit the market with its variant called 'Vespa LX125' and Vespa 'VX' which received very good response in the market.
Vespa S will come in quite interesting features including rectangular headlamps which enhance its outer beauty. Another feature of Vespa S includes Fuel Gauge, Analogue speedometer and digital-clock on the instrument cluster and three-spoke alloy wheels.
Mechanically, Vespa S has 125cc, 4-stroke single-cylinder engine and CVT transmission same as in VX and LX125. It consist of 200mm disc brake in fornt and 140mm drum type rear brake. Talking about its price range, it will be available at an approx. ex-showroom price of Rs. 74, 414 in Pune.
