Piaggio Launches Vespa S in India for Rs. 74,400
Piaggio has finally launched the 'Vespa S' in the Indian market on March 5, 2014. Company has announced it at the 2014 Auto Expo. The launch event was held in Mumbai and Actor Imraan Khan was the star guest of the event. The two variants of Vespa - LX and VX, are already on sale in India.
It comes with a unique square designed mirrors and head lamp. Its speedometer cluster gives it a sporty look. Other prominent features are disc brakes, tubeless tyres, single steel monocoque chassis and black alloy wheels which enhance its outer beauty. It is powered by the similar 125cc 3 valve engine type used in other two variants.
The company has launched it in four color choice, which includes Orange, White, Red and Matt Black. Price of the Vespa S is Rs. 74,414 (ex-showroom, Pune), Rs. 76,495 (ex-showroom, Mumbai) and Rs. 75,424 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
