UM Imports Flash 125, Nitrox 150 Bikes In India For R&D Purpose

The American automaker UM has imported two motorcycles - Flash 125 and Nitrox 150 in India for the R&D purpose, which means we can expect these bikes soon in Indian market. Notably, the UM Motorcycle has signed a joint venture with the India based electric two-wheeler maker, Lohio Auto. The 400cc Cruiser ABS motorcycle will be the first motorcycle to be launch in India, as per the company's confirmation.

Talking about the Flash 125 scooter, it comes equipped with a 125cc single cylinder, air-cooled engine which generates a maximum power of 8.84 Bhp at 7000 rpm and torque of 9M at 6000 rpm. It is mated to a 4-speed gearbox transmission. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with stopping power provided by a front disc and rear drum brakes. While, the motorcycle Nitrox 150 has an air-cooled 149.4cc single cylinder engine which produces peak power of 8.5 Bhp at 8000 rpm and peak torque of 10 Nm.

It is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. UM Nitrox 150 packs a quite conventional design with all black sporty engine and LED turn indicators. It also gets blind-spot mirrors, anti-flat tyres and its 5-spoke alloy wheels are adding more charm to its beauty. The company hasn't word on the availability or price of these bikes yet. The price of Flash 125 might be ranges between INR. 45,000 to 48,000. Whereas, the 150cc motorcycle Nitrox is expected to be priced between INR. 55000 to 60000.
