Kawasaki Z250 SL Officially Launched in Indonesia

With the launch of new 'Kawasaki Z250 SL' in the Indonesian market, Kawasaki has joined the league of 250cc naked bikes queue. The company has made it official in Indonesia just after a couple of hours, the production version images of Yamaha R25 got leaked online, the bike is expected to be officially revealed by the end of this month. Coming back to the Kawasaki Z250 SL, it is based on the Ninja Mono naked bike. It comes in the market in two variants including ABS and Non- ABS.

Talking about its specs, it comes equipped with a 249cc, liquid-cooled, single cylinder, fuel-injected engine which produces peak power of 27.6 Bhp at 9700rpm and peak torque of 23Nm at 8200rpm. The weight of this bike is measured as 148kgs. The engine is packed with a 5-speed gearbox. Braking system of the bike comprises of front disc brake of 263mm and 193mm of rear disc brake. Z250 SL comes with the fuel tank capacity of 17.00-litres.

Exterior of the bike features an attractive v-shaped headlight, sharp front cowl, tinted visor with clear lens indicators nicely fitted on both sides of the bike, stylish black color alloy wheels which enhance th beauty of bike and gives it a sporty look and a analogue digital instrument panel. There are three shades available in this bike including Black, Green and Orange. Features of this bike will definitely grab the attention  youngster who prefer stylish looking bike with high-end features.

The price of the 'Kawasaki Z250 SL' has been set according to its variant. The non-ABS version is priced at IDR 38.9 million and ABS version is offered at IDR 44.9 million. The first stock of this new model is expected to reach the dealers around the end of May, 2014. It is expected to be launched in India by March, 2015 and the expected ex-showroom price would be below 2 lakh rupees.
