Kawasaki Planning to Launch Ninja 300R in India on 10th April

The 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300R sports bike could be launched on 10th April 2013 in India. This plan of Bajaj Auto and Kawasaki was revealed by a KTM Bajaj Probiking dealer. Expected to replace its 250cc sibling, the Ninja 250R will came to India through the CKD route from Thailand. Then CKD kits will be assembled at the Bajaj Auto’s Chakan factory, off Pune. Where Kawasaki Motor has an assembly facility. The Ninja 300R is powered by a 296cc twin cylinder engine. This engine comes with 8 valves, a DOHC layout, slipper clutch and liquid cooling.

The 300cc motor will generate max power of 39bhp along with 27 Nm of peak torque. Also the liquid cooled engine is hooked to a 6-speed transmission. The 2013 Ninja 300R features telescopic forks up front and monoshock absorber down rear. Both the wheels of Ninja 300R are equipped with petal disc brakes. The Kawasaki Ninja 300R features ABS globally but it is unclear whether Kawasaki will offer ABS with the Indian model or not. Many of the KTM Bajaj Probiking dealers has started taking bookings. These dealerships are responsible for selling and servicing KTM & Kawasaki motorcycles in India.
