Hero Launched 2014 Xtreme for Rs. 67400

Hero MotoCorp has launched the latest 2014 Xtreme bike in the Indian market. Booking of this all new refreshed Xtreme bike has already been started with the booking amount of Rs. 1000. It is offered at approx. Rs. 67400 for its Indian customers. Latest Xtreme features a range of aesthetic tweaks to freshen up the appeal.

Mechanically unchanged, it has a similar 149.2cc, four stroke, single cylinder, air cooled engine which also does its duty in the older model of Xtreme. The engine produces peak power of 15.2bhp at 8500rpm along with 12.80Nm of torque at 6500rpm. It is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. The bike has a length of 2060mm, width of 765mm and a height of 1145mm. Its wheelbase is measured as 1325mm and ground clearance is 145mm. Fuel tank capacity of the bike is 12.1-litre. 

Talking about its other specs, refreshed Xtreme features sleeker tank, advanced microprocessor ignition system, sporty rear view mirrors, new headlight, LED tail-light, 18-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres, side stand indicators, single stylish seating, engine immobilizer, a segment-first under-seat mobile charging socket and a stylish new indicators. Instrument cluster of the bike is equipped with a speedometer, tachometer, digital fuel guage, 2 trip meters and a low fuel indicator.

New Hero Xtreme is available in 2 variants: one with dual discs (240mm front/220mm rear) at Rs. 67,400 (approx) and second one is equipped with a 240mm front disc and 130mm rear drum brake at Rs. 70,700(approx). There are five color options offered in this bike including Silver, Black, Red, Orange and Blue. The main rivals of this all new Xtreme motorcycle are Honda CB Trigger, Yamaha FZ16, Suzuki GS150R, TVS Apache RTR 160 and Bajaj Pulsar 150.
