Harley Davidson Open New Dealership in Indore

Leisure bikes and life style lovers in central India have one more reason to rejoice, as the Harley- Davidson India has started its first dealership in 'Indore'. The newly opened 'Tiger Harley-Davidson' dealership in Indore is the tenth dealership of the company in the country.

Managing Director, Harley Davidson India, Anoop Prakash, said, 'This is our first dealership at Indore in Madhya Pradesh and this is one of the largest Harley- Davidson showrooms in India. We are excited to welcome the new customers in central India to join our growing family of owners'.

The new dealership in Indore will offer entire Harley-Davidson India line up of twelve motorcycle models, in addition to Harley-Davidson apparel, merchandise, and riding gear said company officials.

The prices range of Harley-Davidson bikes available in Indore will be from INR 583,409 (ex-showroom, Indore) to INR 2,509,431 for its top end models. The company assembles nine out of its twelve models available in India in its Haraya, Bawal plant and plans to launch some more models in India based on the response. The company has total 30 Harley-Davidson bike models globally.

According to MD, Anoop Prakash, Harley- Davidson holds more than 50 percent market share in above 500 cc segment in India and feels the prospects are bright for company. Harley Davidson sold approximately 2,000 premium segment bikes between 2010 and 2012 in India.
