Bajaj Pulsar AS200 lauched in India at INR 91,550

In addition to Pulsar 150AS, Bajaj has also launched the Pulsar AS200 under the new range of motorcycle called Adventure Sport. It comes with a price tag of INR 91,550 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It will definitely grab the attention of buyers who want to see some changes in the Pulsar lineup. The company claims that it is a perfect motorcycle for the riders who love travelling as it delivers up to 30 % more power than its rivals. It shares its wheelbase figures with Pulsar 200NS which is 1363mm. The Pulsar 200 AS will also come in single variant like its sibling 150 AS and there will be no ABS variant.

The Bajaj Pulsar AS200 employs a 199.5cc 1-cylinder, liquid-cooling, 4-stroke, SOHC -4V engine with triple spark plugs and it is mated to 6-speed gearbox. The engine will make for a peak power of 23.17 Bhp at 9500 rpm along with a18.3 Nm of torque at 8000 rpm. It comes with a length of 2070mm, width of 804mm, height of 1205mm and it has a wheelbase of 1363mm. The fuel tank capacity of the bike is 12 litres. It is expected to reach a top speed of 135 kmph (not officially confirmed). The braking system of the motorcycle inlcudes a 280mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc brake.

Lookwise, it comes with semi-fairing and perimeter frame with pojector headlight at front. However, projector headlight is never seen on the motorcycle in this price range. Like Pulsar AS150, the AS200 is also devoid of body graphics and is being offered in 3 plain shades - Black, Blue & Red. There is a large windscreen visor available at front for the ease of ride. While at the back, it gets mudguard and it is more taller and longer than Pulsar 200 NS. It sports a digital-analougue instrument cluster with a neat layout.
