The eagerly expected Tata Curvv, an SUV coupe, is set to hit the market later this year, as unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Expo in a nearly final form. Recent spy shots have given us a glimpse into the Curvv's interior, showcasing its infotainment system which is likely to be the 12.3-inch unit found in other Tata models such as the Nexon EV, Harrier, and Safari.

Interior and Features

Spy shots of the Tata Curvv test mule have given us a sneak peek at the interior which is expected to be both stylish and feature-packed. The highlight is a large 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, similar to those found in other Tata models like the Nexon EV, Harrier, and Safari.

The Curvv's cabin is designed to be minimalist yet modern, with amenities such as a digital driver's display, electrically adjustable and ventilated front seats, and a panoramic sunroof. It is also expected to have additional safety features like six airbags, front and rear parking sensors, and a 360-degree video system in addition to Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

Powertrain Options

Tata Motors plans to launch the Curvv in both electric (EV) and Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) variants. The EV version is set to hit the market first, between June and September 2024, followed by the ICE-powered variants. While specific details of the engines are yet to be revealed, the Curvv is expected to offer both diesel and turbo-petrol options.

Pricing and Rivals

The Tata Curvv EV is anticipated to be priced around Rs 20 lakh, while the ICE variant is expected to start from Rs 11 lakh. The Curvv will go up against well-known SUVs like the Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Hyundai Creta, and Kia Seltos when it first launches. The Curvv EV, on the other hand, will take on electric rivals such as the MG ZS EV, Hyundai Kona Electric, the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV, and the Maruti Suzuki eVX.
