Latest Updates
Sunday, 10 November 2024 07:49 AM The Skoda Kushaq is set to receive a seven-seater version, expected to launch in India in 2027. This new generation model will be underpinned by a new platform, likely the MQB A0 37, allowing for the addition of a third-row seating layout. This move aims to help Skoda compete more effectively in the SUV market.
Sunday, 08 September 2024 09:57 AM Skoda India has announced that the Kushaq 1.5-litre engine variants will now only be available with automatic transmission options. This move is part of the companys strategy to streamline its powertrain offerings. I think this will make the Kushaq more appealing to those who prefer the convenience of an automatic gearbox.
Monday, 19 August 2024 06:09 PM Skoda has dropped the prices of the Kushaq by up to Rs. 2.19 lakh and restructured the variant lineup. The 2024 model year update includes five variants: Classic, Onyx, Signature, Monte Carlo, and Prestige. This price cut and new variant lineup are expected to boost sales.
Monday, 01 July 2024 04:59 PM Skoda Auto India has announced a nationwide monsoon service camp from July 1 to August 20, 2024, which includes special offers and services for Kushaq owners. This initiative aims to enhance customer satisfaction and vehicle maintenance during the monsoon season.
Tuesday, 11 June 2024 06:06 PM Skoda India has launched the Kushaq Onyx Automatic, priced at Rs. 13.49 lakh. This variant is now the most affordable automatic option in the Kushaq lineup, making it more accessible to a wider range of buyers. The Onyx Automatic comes with several features, including a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system and cruise control.
Saturday, 01 June 2024 05:32 PM Skoda India has discontinued the 1.5L turbo petrol-manual powertrain option for the Kushaq. This decision is part of the companys strategy to focus on more popular powertrain configurations. I think this will help streamline production and focus on more in-demand variants.
Tuesday, 30 April 2024 06:11 AM The Skoda Kushaq and Slavia now come with six airbags as standard across all variants, along with other safety features. This update has made the vehicles safer, although it has resulted in a price increase of up to Rs. 35,000. I think this is a positive move, prioritizing safety without compromising too much on affordability.
Monday, 15 April 2024 10:02 AM Skoda has introduced the Kushaq Monte Carlo variant, which will be launched on May 9, 2024. This variant will feature new styling elements, additional features, and a sportier look, including darkened cosmetic trims and new alloy wheels. It will sit at the top of the variant list, offering a premium option for buyers. I believe this will be a great addition to the Kushaq lineup, adding a touch of elegance and sportiness.
Tuesday, 01 November 2022 07:39 PM The Skoda Kushaq has received significant sales success, with the company delivering 19,500 units from January to September 2022. This success has contributed to Skodas growth in the Indian market and has prompted the launch of other models like the Kylaq.
Tuesday, 14 June 2022 06:14 PM A new non-sunroof variant of the Skoda Kushaq has been introduced, priced at Rs. 15.09 lakh, which is about Rs. 20,000 lower than the regular Style variant. This variant is only available with the 1.0 TSI engine and is aimed at making the Kushaq more affordable.

Discussions and Questions Skoda Kushaq

Let’s compare the Kushaq’s infotainment system with that of rivals like Creta and Seltos.
07 January 2025 05:16
It’s not overly complicated, which I actually like. It’s easy to get distracted by too many features. The system in the Kushaq offers me what I need without drowning me in options I will never use.
Is the premium the Kushaq commands over its rivals worth it for its build quality and long term reliability?
07 January 2025 05:16
I’m not sure it depends on your priorities. The Kushaq is an excellent car if you want one that feels premium and enjoy driving. If, however, peace of mind and low running costs are your priorities, then look elsewhere.
With the launch of the Kylaq, is the Skoda Kushaq 1.0 TSI becoming obsolete?
07 January 2025 05:16
Skoda is not obsolete; they just need to do more. Perhaps, cut back some features or bring the price down a little, to keep up with the competition. The Kylaq are really putting some pressure on them.
On Indian roads, how does the Kushaq ride quality compare to its competitors?
07 January 2025 05:16
The ride is fine, but I would have liked for Skoda to have tuned it a bit softer for India. It's sometimes like they just copied the European setup without taking our roads into account.
Are the AC cooling issues reported on the Kushaq a dealbreaker?
07 January 2025 05:16
I know this because I live in Chennai and it just doesn't have the AC to handle really hot days. Neither is it a dealbreaker for me, but it's definitely an area Skoda needs to improve.
