Yamaha R15 Creates New Sales Record: Some called it overpriced and went forward to claim that this won’t work anymore but, Yamaha R15 Version 3.0 managed to bring 13,054 buyers into the Blue zone in Sept 2018, shutting all haters down with a five-digit number that is hard for even reputed commuters to achieve. Yamaha R15 costs INR 1.27 lakh for the third generation model while R15-S comes with INR 10,000 lower tag than the newcomer. As numbers are considered by adding both of them, one can see both leisure and track focused riders participating in the extraordinary R15 ownership experience.

Yamaha R15 is powered by 155.1cc, single cylinder engine in the V3 version while S variant uses the 149cc engine. Royal Enfield Classic and Bullet series were two products that registered five-digit sales number earlier around this section, making R15 the second-ranking product as a direct replacement of Bullet. Even the growth within Classic series was negligible during the September period, making the fully faired sportbike as the only option that unwrapped positive user engagement. R15 Version 3.0 is available in Racing Blue and Thunder Grey shade while the affordable R15-S comes in Track White, Spark Green and Adrenaline Red shade.
