Ride with Rahul brings his 300 kilometer long review for the 2017 KTM 390 Duke. As he has a 2013 Duke 390 with himself most of the times, he knows in which ways this new version is different from the older one. First, he makes the fact clear that the rise in weight is only felt theoretically as the real world performance has improved with the inclusion of ride by wire technology. He gives a 10/10 for the handling of 2017 KTM 390 Duke.
He claims the heating to be lower than the first version as KTM has used a bigger radiator fan to get away from this problem. The seat height is now more in sync with people above 5 and a half feet as other will have to do the same with their toes. The handlebar now feels lower and the bike now definitely feels more sporty than ever. He feels the 2017 KTM Duke 390 can go more than 300 kilometers on one tank and the overall built is simply amazing.
