Kawasaki is getting ready for the upcoming independent operations and recently opened a new exclusive dealership at Plot no 61, Industrial Area, Phase 1, Chandigarh. They are breaking the sales and service ties with Bajaj Auto and ready to move all of its products into the limited number of Kawasaki showrooms. Dealerships under Bajaj group currently sell Bajaj, KTM and Kawasaki's entry level CKD models while soon only Bajaj and KTM models would be left on their side.

The reason was not clarified but it can be assumed that KTM RC 390 and Kawasaki Ninja 300 cannot maintain a balance when presenting themselves side by side within the same showroom. One claims a price tag of INR 2.14 lakh while other is available at INR 3.65 lakh. The Kawasaki customer, if not that cult follower, can easily loose interest from the Ninja as INR 1.5 lakh difference can let them think twice before the decision.
