Hyundai India, a prominent player in the automotive industry recently unveiled its monthly sales report for December 2023 marking a significant milestone by achieving a remarkable 6 lakh unit sales in the calendar year 2023. This accomplishment highlights consumer affinity for the brand in the cutthroat market and its ongoing success. Additionally, the much-anticipated Creta facelift is set to make its debut on January 16, 2024 creating anticipation among enthusiasts and potential buyers.

Breaking down the figures, Hyundai recorded a notable growth of 10% in its monthly sales reaching 42,750 units in December. This positive trend is part of the Korean automaker's broader success throughout the year with a total of 7,65,786 units sold in the calendar year 2023. This reflects a commendable 9% growth compared to the previous year which saw 7,00,811 units sold and it is worth highlighting that these sales encompass both domestic and export markets.

Hyundai Motor India Limited's (HMIL) Chief Operating Officer (COO), Tarun Garg shared his comments on this accomplishment. He stated, "In the momentous year of 2023, Hyundai Motor India witnessed a watershed moment by achieving its highest-ever domestic sales of 6,02,111 units achieving a respectable 9 percent growth over last year's sales volume. HMIL has not just kept pace but surpassed industry growth (estimated at around 8.2 percent) a testament to customers choosing the brand Hyundai as their preferred mobility brand."

Garg also highlighted the proactive steps taken by Hyundai in 2023 to meet the growing demand from customers. To better serve its growing customer base the company increased its yearly production capacity by 50,000 units.

Bookings for the next Creta facelift are already available which has increased anticipation according to Hyundai. Enthusiasts and potential buyers can reserve their units by making a token payment of Rs. 25,000. The Creta facelift set to launch on January 16, 2024, promises to bring new features, design updates, and innovations to further enhance the driving experience and aesthetic appeal of this popular model.
