Hero Sales Breakup Feb 2024: Domestic, Exports, Models

Hero MotoCorp, the world's largest 2W manufacturer by volume, experienced a fruitful sales performance in February 2024. Positive growth in both the domestic and other countries was evident in the sales breakdown of this 2W monster. The iconic Splendor led the charge in the domestic market, while the Hunk excelled in exports.

Hero Sales Breakdown - February 2024 – Domestic Sales

The Hero Splendor continued its reign as the top seller, moving 2,77,939 units. Notably, Splendor holds the title of not only Hero's best-selling model but also the best-selling 2W vehicle in India overall. Despite a slight 3.70% year-on-year (YoY) decline compared to last year's 2,88,605 units, it remains a powerhouse, accounting for 62.76% of Hero's total domestic sales.

Following closely is the HF Deluxe, with 76,138 units sold, marking a remarkable 35.26% YoY growth over last year's 56,290 units. The Passion line secured the third spot with 31,302 units sold, showcasing a staggering 574.61% YoY growth compared to February 2023.

Other noteworthy performers include the Destini 125, doubling its numbers YoY with 17,033 units sold, and the Glamour line, which saw a healthy 86.84% YoY growth with 15,904 units sold. The Pleasure also showed promising growth, selling 8,248 units with a 55.24% YoY increase aided by the launch of the Pleasure XTEC Sports variant.

In total, Hero sold 4,42,863 units domestically last month, marking a significant 15.84% YoY growth over the previous year and gaining 60,562 units in volume.

Exports (International Business)

Hero's exports were led by the Hunk, showing an impressive 186.61% YoY growth with 8,174 units shipped, accounting for 35.31% of the company's exports. The HF Deluxe followed suit with 4,718 units shipped and an 84.66% YoY growth. The Glamour line also performed well in exports, shipping 3,552 units with a 221.74% YoY growth.

Despite its domestic dominance, the Splendor took the 4th spot in exports, shipping 3,232 units but experiencing a 30.7% YoY decline. The Xpulse saw a doubling of shipments YoY with 1,426 units shipped.

In total, Hero shipped 23,148 units internationally last month, marking an impressive 84.14% YoY growth and gaining 10,577 units in volume compared to the previous year.
