As the new year unfolds, Honda Car India has given the green light to its authorized dealers to offer substantial discounts and benefits on the sedan lineup, bringing potential savings to customers and these discounts cover a wide range of incentives such as exchange bonuses, loyalty awards, corporate discounts, and cash benefits. If you are in the market for a new Honda car this month, here is a detailed look at the potential savings and benefits you can avail yourself of.

Honda City e:HEV: Up to Rs 1 lakh in benefits

While the 2024 City e:HEV models aren't included in the January discounts, the 2023 models come with substantial benefits of up to Rs 1 lakh. This includes a flat cash discount with no additional perks. The City e:HEV stands out as a strong hybrid variant of the fifth-gen City, featuring a 1,498cc, four-cylinder petrol engine coupled with two electric motors and an e-CVT gearbox. This hybrid model, known for its fuel efficiency, is priced between Rs 18.89-20.39 lakh.

Honda City: Up to Rs 88,600 in benefits

In January, Honda dealers are extending significant discounts on the Honda City, providing buyers with an opportunity to save up to Rs 88,600. Prospective buyers can enjoy a cash discount of up to Rs 40,000, a loyalty bonus of up to Rs 4,000, an exchange bonus of up to Rs 6,000, and special corporate benefits of up to Rs 25,000 for Honda-approved corporate units. Additionally, buyers of the VX and ZX trims can take advantage of an extended warranty (fourth and fifth years) priced at Rs 13,600. and this extended warranty offer is applicable to both 2023 and 2024 models.

The Honda City, celebrated for its balanced ride, comfortable interiors, and responsive engine, is competitively priced between Rs 11.63-16.11 lakh. It faces stiff competition from rivals such as the Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus, Skoda Slavia, and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. The midsize sedan is equipped with a 121hp, 145Nm, 1.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine, available with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT gearbox.

Honda Amaze: Up to Rs 72,000 in benefits

Both the 2023 and 2024 versions of the Honda Amaze come with offers of up to Rs 72,000 on select trims. This compact SUV, which costs between Rs 7.10 and Rs 9.86 lakh, gets discounted significantly in January. The S trim offers multiple benefits, including a cash discount of up to Rs 45,000, a loyalty reward of up to Rs 4,000, and a corporate benefit of up to Rs 23,000. Discounts up to Rs 52,000 and Rs 62,000, respectively, are available for the E and VX trims with a comparable breakdown of offerings.
The Honda Amaze features a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine generating 90hp and 110Nm of torque. It may be purchased with a CVT gearbox or a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Amaze competes in the market against rivals like the Hyundai Aura and the Maruti Suzuki Dzire thanks to its roomy cabin and superior ride quality.
