The 321cc, twin cylinder engine on the R3 is good for 42 HP of maximum power and 29.6 Nm of maximum torque. The engine comes with a 6-speed gearbox. At present, Yamaha is selling the last-gen R3 in India for INR 3.50 lakh (ex-showroom), while the next-gen R3 is expected to get an ex-showroom price tag of around INR 3.70 lakh. 2019 Yamaha R3 is expected to launch in India later this year.
