A drag race between TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and Hero Xtreme 200R has cleared how well both the motorcycles have been made by the respective brands. The comparison also clears the position of the newly launched Xtreme in front of its biggest rival. The drag race starts with Xtreme 200R giving tough competition to the Apache till 60 kph. Suddenly, the power surge from Apache’s engine is witnessed with a clean gap between both the riders.
As Hero has itself claimed a great 0-60 kph time for their motorcycle, it seems like doing 100 kph is also not that bad. The motorcycle struggles to gain speed once the 100 kph mark is crossed while the Apache can be seen cutting the wind and getting an even wider gap in the triple-digit speed range. Apache 200 is seen touching 124 kph in this sprint, with the same rider on the saddle that was earlier on the Xtreme. Both the bikes are offered with a 5-speed gearbox.
*The speedometer indicated top speed of Apache RTR 200 is around 144 kmph and Xtreme 200R's speedometer shows 120 kmph as the top speed.
