2018 Triumph Speed Triple will be officially unveiled internationally on Feb 5, 2018. Triumph is one among top superbike brands of India and Speed Triple will take their sales number further up by a considerable margin, when launched. The earlier version was fun to ride but lacked power to rupee ratio that other brands offered at that time. 2018 variant rules out this statement as added power and better dynamics will bring the best ever experience to this segment buyer. 2018 Speed Triple will use an updated 1050cc, three cylinder engine producing 140 HP at 9500 rpm and 112 Nm at 7850 rpm. The RS variant can even get a 150+ HP output. The values are equally impressive when equated to its dry weight of just 192 kg. Engine on the motorcycle comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and uses advanced electronic features to keep things under control all the time.

Speed Triple comes with a unique twin exhaust layout that almost sits next to the pillion seat. For beginners, this differentiates Street Triple and Speed Triple in the easiest possible way. India official website for Speed Triple is yet to go live while all details for last-gen model are available through the Triumph UK page (except for RS). Imports for 2018 Triumph Speed Triple will start later this year. Unlike others, Speed Triple comes with a huge 190 section rear wheel, 43mm USD Showa forks (expect Ohlins for Speed Triple RS) for the base variant and twin 320mm disc brakes from Brembo with switchable ABS. The all-new LCD console looks great and offers great detail of anything related to the bike. Buyers will get optional tyre pressure monitoring and standard lap timer, riding modes and much more on the 2018 version. Seat height (825 mm) on the standard variant is slightly on higher side while fuel tank is considerably impressive at 15.5 liters.
