After its success, Suzuki passed on the name to a fully faired machine named Gixxer SF. It is based on the same platform as naked Gixxer and even shares every other component like frame, engine, suspension and headlight.

Gixxer series of India is powered by a 154.9cc, single cylinder engine that comes in both carburetor fed and fuel injected assembly. All variants are offered with air cooling as standard.
Every variant produces identical 14.6 BHP at 8000 rpm and 14 Nm at 6000 rpm. Gixxer SF benefits from its aerodynamic ability at higher speeds while Gixxer 155 is lightweight and built for street riding.
