Excellently Wrapped KTM RC 200 by A-Wraps: KTM RC 200 is India's most capable 200cc track machine and since its launch, most manufacturers were forced to discover this untouched engine segment through bikes like Pulsar RS200, NS200 and Apache RTR 200. None was able to create the magic that is seen from the high performance engine on RC 200.
Design of KTM RC 200 is highly aerodynamic and soft shades like Black/White were not clearly defining its character for many existing customers. One such fan went to 'A-Wraps' and got this mind blowing RC 200 in return for his stock version. As performance satisfaction was very high, RC 200 was given just a visual upgrade through the wrap artist.
Complete body parts of this RC 200 were wrapped in Matte Grey while highlights were added through the use of Orange on side fairing, fuel tank and both the sides of front fairing. When looking closer into the eyes, you may realize that this machine is a deception.
The logo sits right between the headlights and DRL of RC 200. A cracking pattern of Orange flows closer to this junction. Side fairing comes with Akrapovic, KTM and Motul monikers, all of them finished in random shades like White, Black and Orange.
RC 200 is powered by 199.5cc, single cylinder engine producing 25 HP at 10,000 rpm and 19.2 Nm at 8,000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and claims 140 kmph of speedometer indicated top speed. RC 200 weighs 154 kg and currently carries a price tag of INR 1,78,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
KTM updated the Black shade from 2017 variant to White on the 2018 RC 200. This custom wrap helps it claim a unique place among others. KTM is now using UV resistant paint, better graphics and updated BS4 engines on all of its motorcycles. The KTM range in India starts from INR 1,50,000 for 200 Duke while goes up to INR 2,39,000 for flagship Duke 390.
