The wait is over! Benelli 302R has been officially launched in India at INR 3.48 lakh (ex-showroom pan India). Benelli officially started accepting the bookings a few weeks back with a token amount of INR 25,000.
Benelli 302R comes equipped with dual-channel ABS, making it the first sport bike from 2-cylinder category to bring the safety feature as standard in India. This seems pretty impressive as Yamaha R3 is presently discontinued and Kawasaki Ninja 300 is not even offered with optional ABS. This makes Benelli 302R exclusive in its own way.
As Benelli 302R has entered India through CKD route, the part sharing equation with the TNT 300 made it easier for Benelli to get a perfect placement for the full faired sport bike. Benelli bikes are known for their excellent exhaust notes and 302R is the first fully faired racer after the mighty Tornado 1130 in the company lineup.
The bike measures 2150 mm in length, 745 mm in width and 1115 mm in height. This makes it over 100 mm longer than the closest rival. You can buy Benelli 302R in three shades namely White Rosso, Silver Verde and Red Nero. Benelli is currently expanding its dealership network at a fast pace, recently inaugurating one in Mysore last week.
This dealership will cater the needs of buyers through complete Benelli lineup and brings services like 24x7 breakdown assistance to the town. One can choose from number of accessories available at Benelli dealerships for better customization of their products. This takes the total number of dealerships of Benelli in India to 26.
