Bajaj all-set to Launch its Bike Range in Malaysia Bajaj Auto is working on international expansion and recently, it partnered with Modena (Motosikal Dan Enjin Nasional) from Malaysia to sell its products like Dominar 400, Pulsar Series and V in the country. Modena sells step-thorough and scooters in the Malaysian market while inclusion of Bajaj brand will help them expand even faster. They will only gain profits through assembly as Bajaj branded motorcycles would get their dedicated line in Modena's manufacturing facility.

Bajaj is currently focusing on ASEAN market expansion and Malaysia could be their production hub in the coming time. The technology transfer could even help Modena gain some of the exclusive Bajaj engines, helping them develop new products for the market. All of the necessary clearances have been received while the partnership will be fully functional from next month. Bajaj may also localize the products to increase the cost effectiveness of various motorcycles.

Bajaj Auto currently has Dominar 400, Pulsar RS200, NS200, 220F, 180, 150, Avenger 220, 150 and V15 in its performance friendly lineup. They can easily extend the range further in the coming months for India while researching about the needs of other ASEAN markers will leave them with limited number of products. The current performance (150 cc and above) lineup starts right above INR 60,000 and goes up to INR 1,52,000 in India for the top spec Bajaj Dominar 400 with ABS.
