The much-awaited Audi A6 facelift is expected to go on sale in the middle of 2024 for an estimated Rs 60–65 lakh. This updated model, which was introduced to the public in May 2023, includes new features like the standard Audi 12.3-inch "Virtual Cockpit" digital instrument cluster along with modest decorative and interior advancements. The facelift features new front and back bumper designs, a more apparent single-frame grille, and cleaner-looking DRLs in the updated matrix LED headlight. Expect the 2.0-liter mild hybrid turbo-petrol engine with 245 power and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission to remain the same as the present model. New BMW 5 Series

With an estimated price range of Rs 70 lakh to Rs 80 lakh when it launches in late 2024, the next generation BMW 5 Series is ready to redefine luxury by providing a roomier and more comfortable experience than its predecessor. This model offers a modern and highly technologically advanced cabin with a twin-screen arrangement that includes a 14.9-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch instrument cluster. It also includes the most recent iDrive 8.5 system. The first BMW to provide an entirely vegan interior option outside of the country is noteworthy. Along with 48V mild hybrid technology, the new 5 Series portfolio will include plug-in hybrid powertrains (though these are unlikely for the Indian market) and gasoline and diesel engines. BMW's direct competitor, the 5 Series with a longer wheelbase, was introduced in India, which is a remarkable milestone.

Citroen C3X

Citroen C3X

The Citroen C3X, which is scheduled to go on sale in early 2024 and cost between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 12 lakh, offers a distinctive combination of fastback style, SUV-like high ground clearance, and midsize sedan grace. The C3X, which is Citroen's fifth model in India and the fourth to use the common modular platform (CMP), which is shared by models such as the C3, eC3, and C3 Aircross, is marketed as a technological and design synergy. With a 110 hp 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine and a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission, this sedan is sure to leave its mark. Keep an eye out for its release; an electric version is expected to arrive soon after the gasoline- or diesel-powered version.

New Honda Amaze

The third-generation Honda Amaze will be released in mid-2024 and be priced between Rs 7.5 lakh and Rs 10 lakh. This new model is expected to carry with it an extensive number of improvements. Constructed upon a completely redesigned version of the present platform, this new version maintains its small size, coming in at less than four metres in length. Expect the current 1.2-liter, 90 hp gasoline engine to remain available, mated to either a CVT automatic or a 5-speed manual transmission. It is believed that the design will closely resemble that of the City and other Honda sedans sold worldwide. Although it is unlikely that a diesel engine would make a comeback, CNG variations are always a possibility. Await the reveal of this much-desired new Amaze.

New Maruti Suzuki Dzire

With an awaited price range of Rs 7 lakh to 9.5 lakh, Maruti Suzuki is preparing to launch the fourth-generation Dzire, the much-awaited upgrade to its best-selling small sedan, in the Indian market in mid-2024. Similar to the improvements made to the new Swift, the Dzire will be developed on a new platform and come with significant interior modifications, an updated feature list, and a redesigned design. Expect the reliable 1.2-liter, three-cylinder gasoline engine (codenamed Z12), which was used in the Swift compact cars, to be used going forward. A new and improved driving experience with the Dzire will be released soon, stay tuned.

New Mercedes-Benz E-Class

The all-new E-Class luxury vehicle from Mercedes-Benz is coming to India in late 2024, with a projected price tag of Rs 70 lakh to Rs 90 lakh. The sixth generation E-Class, which is only offered in long-wheelbase configuration, is larger than the previous model and has interior elements that are similar to those of the new C-Class and S-Class as well as a design that is suggestive of the flagship S-Class. A 12.3-inch instrument cluster, a 14.4-inch touchscreen infotainment display, and a 12.3-inch passenger display are all part of the 'Superscreen,' which is featured on some global versions. It will be available with four- and six-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines abroad, all of which will be mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. Unexpectedly, a 48V mild hybrid system is included in the gasoline version for improved efficiency and performance. Prepare for a new era of opulent driving when you acquire a Mercedes-Benz.

New Porsche Panamera

With an estimated price range of Rs 1.6 crore to Rs 2.8 crore when it launches in late 2024, the Porsche Panamera is set to transform the four-door sports sedan market. The third-generation Panamera, which boasts more compact design, crisper dynamics, and strong performance, is based on an improved Modular Sport Toolkit (MSB) platform that Bentley and Porsche created. With its V6 or V8 turbo-petrol engines, the Panamera offers up to four plug-in hybrid powertrain options that combine gasoline and electricity. With a 3.1-second 0-100 kph time and over 650 hp, the luxurious V8 is expected to wow. Await an amazing driving experience when the Porsche Panamera arrives.

Skoda Superb

Skoda will bring back, in small quantities, the current generation Superb sedan to our market. The cancellation of the model was brought about by the implementation of BS6.2. It will debut with a 2.0-liter TSI turbo-petrol engine that has been modified to produce 190 hp and a single 7-speed DSG gearbox. Unlike previously, though, the Superb will be imported as a CBU (fully built-up unit) rather than being nationally assembled in India. With new features including ADAS, which includes lane-keeping assist and adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera, a new infotainment system, adaptive chassis control technology, an active tire pressure monitoring system, and nine airbags, the Czech brand will only regenerate it in the top-spec L&K model.

While around the most recent Tokyo Motor Show, the Suzuki Swift Concept caught my attention since it is especially suited for the Indian market. ignoring its 'Concept' title, the exhibit closely resembles the production-spec vehicle. A perennial favorite in India, the Swift has captured the hearts of both regular and enthusiast drivers with its reasonable price, fun to drive, economical fuel use, and practicality. Although Suzuki refers to it as the fourth generation, it's really a significantly revised third-generation platform with an upgraded engine, evolutionary styling, and an interior that's derived from current Maruti models. In this summary, we explore how the all-new Swift has changed from its predecessor, looking at variations in features, design, and available engine options.
