While the 2024 MG Astor introduces these new features to enhance user experience and convenience, there are no changes in its mechanical specifications. It continues to be powered by a 1498cc naturally aspirated petrol engine delivering 110 PS of power and 114 Nm of torque. Additionally, there is a 1349cc turbo petrol engine variant that produces 140 PS and 220 Nm of torque.

In the competitive landscape the MG Astor faces rivals such as Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, among others and the MG Astor aims to carve out a position for itself in the fiercely competitive industry by providing consumers looking for a vehicle that combines innovation and performance with current amenities and technology developments.
