The Raptor's twin turbo V6 is a whole different animal than the ZR2. In terms of power, it’s not even a fair fight.
One thing the ZR2 has an edge in is really technical off roading, the ZR2 has front and rear lockers. Raptor is only a rear locker.
A wider stance and Fox shocks make Raptor better for high speed desert running. The ZR2 is more of a rock crawler.
I like the ZR2's less garish look, for instance. I don’t like the Raptor because it’s too 'look at me'.
It feels more premium inside the Raptor. Comfort is important if you’re spending that much.
Long trips are always nice and ZR2 offers a diesel option which is great for torque and fuel economy.
Baja mode on Raptor is a game changer for off road enthusiasts. Out of the box it's like having a pre-runner truck.
