Discussions and Questions - Royal Enfield Guerrilla Royal Enfield Guerrilla

Is the Guerrilla 450 too far afield from Royal Enfield's classic design language?

I believe it is a refreshing change. And the Guerrilla 450 proves that RE can do modern designs just as well as they can retro bikes, because they can't keep making retro bikes forever. It’s not stuck in the past but it’s still got some classic touches.
Is the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 an upgrade worth the money from the Hunter 350?
09 January 2025 10:38
It depends on your riding style and your needs, I think. If you are happy with the Hunter 350 and ride mostly in the city, stick with it. If you simply want to tour, the Guerrilla 450 is a good upgrade, but if you want to do more touring, or want a more engaging ride, then you want to go up market. Just expect to pay more in maintenance costs.
Does the Guerrilla 450’s 11 liter fuel tank capacity hinder its touring potential?
09 January 2025 10:38
The small tank is a design choice to keep the bike compact, agile. For city riding and weekend trips, it’s more than enough. If you're a serious tourer then there are always aftermarket solutions such as auxiliary fuel tanks.
Is the Guerrilla 450 for new riders too powerful?
09 January 2025 10:38
I think it's fine for new riders as long as you take proper training courses and respect the bike's capabilities – I started on a Guerrilla 450. If you know how to use the controls, the power is there but it’s not intimidating.
The build quality of the Guerrilla 450 is at the same level as most other Royal Enfield models.

People are too harsh on RE I think. For the price point, the Guerrilla 450 is well built. It’s not premium, but it’s sturdy where it counts and has a bit of character that more clinical bikes lack.
