Has the new Bullet 350 lost its soul in the process of removing the kick starter?
07 January 2025 11:25
This is just progress, the removal of the kick starter. The Bullet is all about its design, its sound and the way it rides. For nostalgia's sake clinging to outdated technology doesn't make sense when the rest of the package is better now.
With so many modern alternatives, is the Bullet 350 worth buying?

Absolutely worth it! The Bullet 350 is a bike that gives a riding experience that you cannot experience in modern bikes. No wonder we don’t care about top speed or gadgets, it’s all about the feeling of riding history. Also, the new J series engine makes it much more reliable for daily use.
With so many modern alternatives, is the Bullet 350 worth buying?
07 January 2025 11:25
To be quite honest, I believe the Bullet is outdated. You can get bikes with better performance, more features, and modern safety tech, for the same price. But when you’re stuck in traffic or on long rides, the nostalgia factor only goes so far.
With so many modern alternatives, is the Bullet 350 worth buying?
07 January 2025 11:25
That all depends on what you’re looking for. If you want the latest tech and performance, you’re looking in the wrong place. If you want a bike with character and a strong community, and easy customisation, the Bullet is still hard to beat. It’s not just transportation, it’s a lifestyle.
With so many modern alternatives, is the Bullet 350 worth buying?
07 January 2025 11:25
I would say, it's still worth it, but not as your only bike. The Bullet is a great bike for leisurely rides and turning heads, but I wouldn’t want it as my daily commuter. It’s a second bike for enthusiasts.
With so many modern alternatives, is the Bullet 350 worth buying?

The Bullet is still a place, but RE needs to up their game. The basic design is timeless, but they need to put a few modern touches to it. A little bit of power, better brakes, and some basic tech go a long way.
So does a Bullet 350 still carry the same status symbol appeal?
07 January 2025 11:25
Nah, the Bullet's not what it used to be, status symbol wise. Every other person seems to have one these days. To stand out, you need to do something more high end or unique. Now the Bullet is more of a common man's bike.
So does a Bullet 350 still carry the same status symbol appeal?
07 January 2025 11:25
I still believe that it still has appeal but in a different way. It's not about flaunting wealth any more, it's about flaunting your love for classic style and not just being a trend follower. They're still turning heads in a sea of plastic sport bikes.
So does a Bullet 350 still carry the same status symbol appeal?

It’s not the bike that gives you the status, it’s the rider. Even today, a tastefully customized Bullet, taken good care of, can be a head turner. Owning one is not the only thing, it's more about how you present it and yourself.
So does a Bullet 350 still carry the same status symbol appeal?

To be honest, I’m happy that the Bullet has lost some of its ‘status symbol’ reputation. That means it is bought more by genuine enthusiasts for the right reasons and not just to show off. The reality is determined by the adventures you have with it.
So does a Bullet 350 still carry the same status symbol appeal?

It depends on where you are. In the big cities, maybe that has lost some of its appeal. And if you take a Bullet to a small town or village, however, you'll still draw lots of admiring looks. It’s got a coolness factor the never goes out of style.
Is the new Bullet 350 J series a real Royal Enfield?
07 January 2025 11:25
Having owned both the old UCE Bullet and the new J series, I can say the new one is still a 'real' Royal Enfield. It’s smoother, sure, but that classic Bullet DNA is still there. It also means I can ride it more often without worrying about breakdowns.
Is the new Bullet 350 J series a real Royal Enfield?
07 January 2025 11:25
No way, man. So the new Bullet is nothing but a fancy commuter bike with an RE badge pasted on it. Where's the character? Kickstarting on a cold morning? Those vibrations that tell you you’re riding something special? It’s been sanitized right out of the soul.
Is the new Bullet 350 J series a real Royal Enfield?
07 January 2025 11:25
I do believe it is a great evolution of the Bullet. It’s the same iconic looks and feel with it being opened up to more riders. Not everyone wants to constantly maintain and deal with vibrations that numb your hands. It's still the new one, it's just more refined.
Is the new Bullet 350 J series a real Royal Enfield?

It's a tough call. While the improvements make it a much better bike overall, especially on one hand. But the other of the Bullet's charms were its quirks and imperfections. It’s objectively better in almost every way, but I do miss the raw feel of the old one.

I've been a RE fan for a long time, and was sceptical at first, but riding the new Bullet has convinced me that it still has the soul of why it is so special. There is the "thump," just more controlled. RE has sort of grown up a bit, and that's not a bad thing.

You are a real biker if you own any bike. Whether it’s what you ride, it’s all about the passion for riding. The Bullet 250 is no different from any other bike, it’s just a tool. It’s the miles you put on it, the experiences you have.

We can all be honest about most Bullet owners are in it for the image. More than actually riding, they like the idea of being a 'biker'. All kinds of bikes can be appreciated by real bikers and they don’t need a specific brand to prove their love for bikes.

There is something unique about the Bullet 250 that actually attracts true enthusiasts. If you can keep one running, you've earned some respect in my book, because it's not the easiest bike to ride or maintain.

It's a mixed bag. There are some hardcore riders who own a Bullet for the challenge and for the nostalgia. Some just want to look cool in the local cafe. The bike you ride doesn't mean you have biker cred.
