The concern I have with AWD off road is range. In tough conditions, batteries drain fast.

On steep descents there could be a lack of engine braking. They will also require a good hill descent control system.

If you drive like a grandma with the AC off, it'll probably hit 450km. This isn’t very realistic for most people.

The real question is what that 80kWh battery will cost. Great range, but if that makes the car unaffordable, it's not so great.
