It’s been over a year now that I’ve been using the e2o Plus for my daily office commute and it has been a game changer! It goes a lot further than my 30km round trip and I just plug it in at night. No more visits to the fuel station, or oil changes. It's also so easy to park in tight spots.

Practical? If you live next door to your workplace, maybe. With my e2o, I had constant range anxiety. In real world use with AC on, the claimed range is a joke. If you run out of juice mid way, good luck finding a charging point.

It’s practical, but as a second car only. It works great for most of our city errands and short trips. We still use our petrol car when we need more space or when we need to travel longer distances. It’s just about managing expectations.

I think it's ahead of its time for India. There is great idea but no infrastructure yet. After six months, I sold mine because I was sick of planning the day around how far it would go and how much it needed to charge.

I love the idea, as a tech enthusiast, but it isn't executed right. The app is buggy, the battery charges finicky, and the battery degrades faster than I’d expect. We're beta testing the technology, it feels like.

I have had my e2o for three years now and it has been surprisingly reliable. Just regular check ups, no major issues. It is a fraction of the running cost of my old petrol car. The battery health is still at 92% which is pretty good.

Reliable? Ha! I have had my e2o in the service center more times than I can count. The AC compressor failed twice and the random electronic gremlins are too numerous to mention. And how do you find a mechanic that knows how to fix these things? Good luck!

It's a mixed bag. But it's cheap to run on a day to day basis, and when something does go wrong, it's expensive. The cost of replacing the battery is scary, and Mahindra’s support network for EVs is still limited.

It depends on your usage, I guess. It holds up well if you’re gentle with it and don’t push it to its limits. I've heard horror stories from people who do long trips, or fast charge regularly.

I was an early adopter so I knew there would be some issues. What bothers me, however, is the lack of transparency from Mahindra about long term costs. Warranties should be longer, longer and better, on battery and maintenance schedule guidelines clearer.

In my e2o Plus, I feel pretty safe. It has good visibility thanks to its high seating position and regenerative braking in sudden stops. For its size, it is more stable than I expected.

Safe? You feel like you are driving a tin can! Every time a bus or truck goes by, I get nervous. Don’t even think about taking it on the highway – it gets blown around by crosswinds.

It's as safe as you drive it. I keep to city limits and drive defensively. In chaotic traffic, the car's agility actually is a help in avoiding accidents. I wouldn't want to be in it during a major collision, though.

For a car its size, the safety features are decent, but let's be real, physics is physics. The e2o is at a disadvantage in a crash with a larger vehicle. That’s the story of calculated risks.
