The F250's build quality has been really impressive. The paint's deep, the panel gaps are tight and nothing rattles after 10,000 km. For the price, it feels much more premium.

It’s good for a Bajaj but not quite up to Japanese standards. Some of the welds aren't real clean and the switchgear has a plasticky feel to it. So far, it has held up well.

People are too harsh on Indian bikes, I think. No matter the brand, the F250's quality is easy to match with bikes that cost 50% more. It’s not perfect, but the value for money is incredible.

I was worried on the build quality coming from a KTM, but I've been pleasantly surprised. I feel as if it is a solid and well put together. My only weak point I've found is the mirrors, they vibrate a lot at high speeds.

It's a mixed bag. Some parts feel premium, others feel cheap. At the price, the overall package is good, though there's definitely room for improvement in the foot pegs and side stand.

I have had some paint chip easily and a few electrical gremlins. It’s nothing major, but I do wonder about long term durability vs. more established brands.

For the price, it's fantastic. Is the Yamaha a little bit better with fit and finish, well, you’re paying a lot more for that marginal improvement. The F250 strikes a great balance.

I believe Bajaj have really upped their game with the F250. Compared to previous Pulsars, it feels much more premium. But it’s still not quite as refined as a CBR250R overall.

After 15,000 km everything is still tight and looks great. It’s impressive for a bike in this price range, but the quality seems to hold up well over time.

Overall the F250's heat management has been pretty good. In traffic it gets warm, but not uncomfortably warm. Definitely better than my old air-cooled bike.

My biggest gripe with the F250 is engine heat. In summer traffic, my legs feel like they’re in an oven. I thought maybe with heat shields or deflectors I could help.

It's a trade-off. Oil cooling keeps the bike running smoothly, but you do feel more heat than on a liquid cooled bike. For the price point, I think Bajaj struck a good balance.

The F250 feels much cooler coming from a KTM. It will warm up in traffic, but never unbearable. It appears the fairing does a good job of keeping the heat off the rider.

I've ridden in 40°C weather and it gets hot but it's manageable. The key is to keep moving. It helps a lot even at low speeds.

I honestly think people over exaggerate the heat issue. It’s noticeable, but what do you expect from a performance oriented 250cc engine? It's part of the experience.

The heat management is great, but I would have loved it if Bajaj went for complete liquid cooling. It would have cost more, but it would have also improved performance and long term reliability.

Mine had an aftermarket oil cooler installed and it made a huge difference. It’s a mod worth considering if you live in a hot climate.
Does the F250's headlight suffice for night riding on dark country roads?
30 January 2025 09:06
The F250’s headlight is pretty good for night riding, I’ve found. It has a nice, wide spread and the LED is bright. I think the halogen on my old bike is definitely better, though.

It’s not great for really dark roads, but okay. The high beam isn’t as powerful as I’d like for highway speeds, but the low beam is fine for the city.

In fact, I actually like it better than some more expensive bikes I have ridden. It has a nice, defined cutoff that doesn’t blind oncoming traffic. It could be brighter, but it’s more than adequate.
