Comfort is subjective. It’s okay for 2-3 hour rides but my heavier friend hates it after 30 minutes. Try before you buy!

I added a gel seat cover and it made the world of difference for longer rides. I think that stock seat is very firm for anything over an hour.

People don’t give it enough credit, it’s more capable. Did a 1000km trip last year. Was it the most comfortable? No. It was super efficient, but it got the job done.

Riding my Discover in the rain, I feel pretty confident. The stock tires have a decent level of grip, and it is overall easy to drive in puddles thanks to the weight.

It's okay, but not great. I’ve had a couple of scary moments when the rear wheel has slid out. It made a huge difference when I upgraded to better tires.

On wet conditions the Discover feels much more planted compared to my old Hero bike. Rainy season riding requires the disc brake option.

I think it's average at best. There's not much confidence in narrow tires when it's really coming down. If I can, I avoid riding in heavy rain.

I ride as a food delivery rider, and I rely on my Discover every day, rain or shine. It’s reliable enough, but you have to be extra careful and smooth with inputs when it is wet.

The stock headlight is pretty weak for rainy conditions but the bike itself is fine. Now, I added auxiliary lights and it's much better.

I've ridden a bunch of 100-125cc bikes and they all feel the same in the rain. The bike model is more about rider skill and caution than anything else.

Waste of money, in my opinion. These bikes are not intended to perform, but to be efficient. If you want more power, you’re better off saving up for a bigger bike.

I threw a K&N air filter and a free flow exhaust on it. It definitely felt a bit peppier over the mid range. Just don't expect miracles.

I modified mine with a bigger carb jet and it ran terrible. I went back to stock and learned my lesson. From the factory they are finely tuned engines.

It’s the small mods that count. It revs more freely now after I polished the ports. You need to know what you're doing or you'll mess things up.

All of the above are fun to tinker with but don't actually gain you any performance. I like working on my bike, even if it’s only a little bit.

Just focus on maintenance, not mods. Any day, a well tuned stock Discover will outperform a poorly maintained modified Discover.

I’ve seen some crazy Discover builds with big bore kits and all. Yeah, they’re faster, but the reliability just goes out the window. Not a daily commuter, not worth it.

The best 'mod' I ever did was changing to synthetic oil. Smoother engine and slightly better mileage. Small changes can have an effect.

Last month my Discover 100M hit 1.2 lakh km and is running like a champ. Just normal oil changes and normal maintenance. Can't kill this thing!

Bulletproof? No, more like it survives with battle scars. I'm at 80k km and already had to change the chain set twice. Decent bike, but not invincible.
