What is the Bajaj Discover 100M like to ride in wet conditions compared to its competitors?

A common worry for many motorcyclists in India is riding in the rain, mainly during monsoon season. The Bajaj Discover 100M's performance in wet conditions has been talked about extensively by riders, in particular while comparing it to other commuter bikes in its segment. Tire grip, braking performance and stability under braking in the rain can be a big safety and confidence factor to the rider. Some people love how it handles in the rain, others have problems. The debate sometimes spreads to whether stock tires are better, aftermarket upgrades, or even tips for safer wet weather riding on this particular model.

I've ridden a bunch of 100-125cc bikes and they all feel the same in the rain. The bike model is more about rider skill and caution than anything else.

The stock headlight is pretty weak for rainy conditions but the bike itself is fine. Now, I added auxiliary lights and it's much better.

I ride as a food delivery rider, and I rely on my Discover every day, rain or shine. It’s reliable enough, but you have to be extra careful and smooth with inputs when it is wet.

I think it's average at best. There's not much confidence in narrow tires when it's really coming down. If I can, I avoid riding in heavy rain.

On wet conditions the Discover feels much more planted compared to my old Hero bike. Rainy season riding requires the disc brake option.

It's okay, but not great. I’ve had a couple of scary moments when the rear wheel has slid out. It made a huge difference when I upgraded to better tires.

Riding my Discover in the rain, I feel pretty confident. The stock tires have a decent level of grip, and it is overall easy to drive in puddles thanks to the weight.
