I live in a hilly place with harsh winters and my CT100 has been good. All it needs is to warm up properly in the cold.

It’s not terrible, but it’s not great in any extreme condition. You can't expect weather proof performance for the price.

No way! It’s a nightmare for long rides with the vibrations and lack of power. With this one, stick to short commutes.

It can, but you have to change it. Add a better seat, windshield, maybe a few luggage options. Then it's decent for touring.

It’s surprisingly capable for the price. You won't be able to keep up with bigger bikes on highways, though.

I wouldn't recommend it. The engine labors at higher speeds, the small fuel tank requires stops more frequently.

It does save money, in my experience. It's cheap and parts are readily available so even repairs are still cost effective.
