The Vanquish design is ageing like fine wine. It is even more understated elegance in a sea of way too much supercars.

To be honest though it’s starting to look a bit long in the tooth. To be able to compete against McLaren and Lamborghini, Aston needs to step up.

The Vanquish still catches my eye every time. No matter the year those proportions just work.

But it turns heads even if, perhaps, not for the best reasons anymore. It’s beginning to feel somewhat classic, as opposed to contemporary.

I believe it depends on the color. It’s still a showstopper in the right shade. For others, it might be a bit too much of a blending.

It still stands up as design, but it lacks that immediate “wow” factor of some of the newer supercars. This is more of a slow burn appreciation.

Not at all. The Aston Martin presence still remains on the V8. The fact is it’s not the engine, it’s the whole package.

Honestly, it does feel a bit less special. The V8 can’t compete with the feeling of knowing you’ve got a massive V12 under the hood.

An Aston’s specialness is specifically its design and craftsmanship. Regardless of what's under the hood, the V8 has all of that in spades.

I think it’s more special because it’s more rare to me. They all expect an Aston to have a V12 so the V8 is a bit of a surprise.

It doesn’t have the most exotic engine note, which is a shame. Visually, though, it’s as stunning as any other Aston.

I would say it’s more special because it’s more fun to drive hard. The car feels more alive with the lighter V8.

Absolutely. The lighter front end makes it more agile in city traffic and the V8 is more fuel efficient.

No way. If you are buying an Aston, you might as well buy the V12. It is not intended to be practical.

I love my V8 DB11 and I daily it. It has more than enough power and doesn't drink fuel like the V12.

The V8 is certainly more liveable, but the V12 is hardly inconsiderable. It's all about personal preference.
