To me, the most iconic is the latest V12 Vanquish. This is everything that Aston has learnt and the pinnacle of their engineering.

I would pay every penny for it. You can’t get the Brit engineering and design to what you’d get from an Italian or German supercar. There’s something special.

The sound of a naturally aspirated V12 is unbeatable, and the Vanquish does a good job of it. It has the musicality that turbocharged engines can never have.
@lokesh-goyover 1 year ago
Not really. It appears a little dated compared to the most recent hypercars. It’s beautiful, yes, but it’s hardly cutting edge now.
@vikas-lakhover 1 year ago
The Vanquish has one of the better exhaust notes in existence. It has depth and character that you won't find with many modern turbocharged engines.

The sound of an American V8 is the sound of life. The Vanquish is too refined for me. Is there something I could try that sounds mean?

The Vanquish S from the mid 2000s was the sweet spot. It was not too modern, it improved on the original.

There are merits to each era, but the most iconic will be the latest Vanquish. This is a swan song for the V12 in an electric world.
@rahul-kumaover 1 year ago
It's a tough call. Aston is a step behind in terms of performance and innovation, but the Vanquish is gorgeous.
@pramod-kumover 1 year ago
I have to say, I’m slightly disappointed. I much prefer the exotic and thrilling sounding V12s of Ferrari.
@neeraj-gupover 1 year ago
Nothing beats the original. It was not raw, it was not new and it didn't set the stage for everything that came afterwards. Plus, Bond car!
@kalika-dubover 1 year ago
It still stands up as design, but it lacks that immediate “wow” factor of some of the newer supercars. This is more of a slow burn appreciation.
@ashish-kumover 1 year ago
In my opinion, it’s too quiet for a supercar. What I want is to look for something that will make people turn their heads around when I drive past.
@kunal-vikrover 1 year ago
Not worth it. It’s outdated tech compared to its rivals and is not the most reliable. The badge is what you’re paying for, and little else.

The original Vanquish, no contest. Most people think 'Aston Martin', and this is the one that's in their mind.
@preeti-yadover 1 year ago
Absolutely! This timeless elegance of the Vanquish never goes out of style. In a world of flashy streetwear it’s like a well tailors suit.
@shinde-vikover 1 year ago
I'm partial to the second-gen. In short, it was a perfect mix of classic Aston styling and modern performance.
@pallavi-saover 1 year ago
To be honest though it’s starting to look a bit long in the tooth. To be able to compete against McLaren and Lamborghini, Aston needs to step up.
@punit-kumaover 1 year ago
The Vanquish is exactly the way an Aston sounds: powerful, sophisticated, and distinctive British. There’s nothing else to be.
@rahul-kanjover 1 year ago
The Vanquish is a great balance between the two. He has presence, unlike most obnoxious presence. Perfect for a grand tourer.
@naresh-kumover 1 year ago
I believe it depends on the color. It’s still a showstopper in the right shade. For others, it might be a bit too much of a blending.
@nirati-sriover 1 year ago
Without question, the original Vanquish from the early 2000s. 'Let me tell you where Bond was first cool, it was in 'Die Another Day' and basically cool for a whole generation.'
@neeraj-gupover 1 year ago
Being the most iconic generation, it is pushing boundaries. This is not a rerun of old ideas but a progression of the brand.
@sourabh-kuover 1 year ago
It is its own kind of awesome. This sophisticated growl suits the Vanquish’s character to a tee. Not every supercar needs to be loud.
@rahul-singover 1 year ago
I like it, but not love it. It has no spine tingler, no prod he uses to attract blonde girls.
@sana-ifranover 1 year ago
But it turns heads even if, perhaps, not for the best reasons anymore. It’s beginning to feel somewhat classic, as opposed to contemporary.
@preeti-yadover 1 year ago
The Vanquish still catches my eye every time. No matter the year those proportions just work.
@anika-agraover 1 year ago
The Vanquish design is ageing like fine wine. It is even more understated elegance in a sea of way too much supercars.
@ashish-kumover 1 year ago
For me, it’s worth it because of the exclusivity factor. Whilst you won't see these everywhere like with other high end brands you do still see them.
@abhinit-kuover 1 year ago
The Vanquish V12 is, more than anything, an experience. The price of admission alone is worth the sound of that engine.
@bhawesh-kuover 1 year ago
As a daily driver? Probably not. As a weekend toy for someone with deep pockets? Absolutely. It's all about perspective.
@awadhesh-nover 1 year ago
Overpriced, in my opinion. These days Aston Martin is trading on its name rather than innovation.
@gazal-singover 1 year ago
That depends. There are better options if you want raw speed. If you want it all, however, the Vanquish is tough to beat.
@sachin-shaover 1 year ago
No way. If that kind of money, I would rather buy a Ferrari or a Lamborghini. Compared to pitching models, they have better performance and more street cred.
@reena-yadaover 1 year ago
Absolutely worth it! The Vanquish V12 is art on wheels. It is not a simple car transaction. It is investment in a piece of automotive history.
