Not at all. The Aston Martin presence still remains on the V8. The fact is it’s not the engine, it’s the whole package.

Pallavi on 23 December 2024 16:08
Honestly, it does feel a bit less special. The V8 can’t compete with the feeling of knowing you’ve got a massive V12 under the hood.

It seems a little more special in a way. That means that it’s more usable day to day, you can enjoy that Aston Martin experience more often.

An Aston’s specialness is specifically its design and craftsmanship. Regardless of what's under the hood, the V8 has all of that in spades.

It is special in a different way. In its own way, an Aston, the V8 feels more modern and tech forward.

Kalika on 25 January 2025 20:57
I think it’s more special because it’s more rare to me. They all expect an Aston to have a V12 so the V8 is a bit of a surprise.

Sakshi on 01 February 2025 03:37
It doesn’t have the most exotic engine note, which is a shame. Visually, though, it’s as stunning as any other Aston.

Piyush on 02 February 2025 06:44
I would say it’s more special because it’s more fun to drive hard. The car feels more alive with the lighter V8.

Raj on 02 February 2025 17:57
An Aston Martin is special, but not just the car, it is the ownership experience that makes it special. That doesn't change with the V8.

Chandan on 03 February 2025 01:05
It’s not as special right now, but in 20 years when everything is electric, that any V8 Aston will be quite damn special.

Kalika on 02 February 2025 13:41
Absolutely. The lighter front end makes it more agile in city traffic and the V8 is more fuel efficient.

Priyanka on 02 February 2025 23:34
No way. If you are buying an Aston, you might as well buy the V12. It is not intended to be practical.

Abhay on 03 February 2025 02:06
I love my V8 DB11 and I daily it. It has more than enough power and doesn't drink fuel like the V12.

Bhramita on 03 February 2025 02:05
The V8 is certainly more liveable, but the V12 is hardly inconsiderable. It's all about personal preference.

Charu on 02 February 2025 22:56
The V8 is more sensible for daily driving. It will also attract less unwanted attention in traffic.

Rajat on 02 February 2025 12:59
I’ve driven both extensively and the V8 is noticeably more nimble in urban environs. That’s the better daily for sure.

Barun on 02 February 2025 12:49
The V12 is more smooth at low speeds, which can be a nice thing in stop and go traffic. It's a toss-up really.

Nimish on 02 February 2025 11:42
If you are actually daily driving an Aston, the lower running costs of the V8 will soon add up. It's the smarter choice.

Gazal on 02 February 2025 11:28
The best daily driver is the one that you enjoy driving every day. Some prefer the V12, others the V8.

Neeraj on 03 February 2025 09:16
Neither is as great daily driver as modern luxury sedans, but of the two, I think the V8 would be the easier car to live with.
