I believe it will be a beast. They should create tons of downforce without nearly as much drag as a traditional wing. Could be a game-changer.

Nah, it's too extreme. But LMH rules will make them dial it back so much it’ll lose its edge. In the end, it will be another prototype.

I'm optimistic. Red Bull Advanced Technologies are working with Aston. They would be the people that could get extreme aero to work within the rules.

This will be a nightmare to balance. A single track change or temperature shift could have the entire car out of whack.

You're all missing the point. It may not be the fastest but it will look amazing on track. Half the battle in getting fans excited is that.

I worry about reliability. A long race is something more things can go wrong or be damaged.

There could be brilliance in qualifying but struggle in the races. The aero features may be too sensitive to perform consistently over 24 hours.

Let's not underestimate Aston. This has years to develop. I'm sure they have found ways to make the aero work within LMH rules.

This is a bold move that might work. Fewer things mean less complexity and there are fewer things to go wrong during a 24 hour race. And without hybrid interference, that V12 sound will be glorious.

Fatal flaw, no doubt. They are giving up free performance and efficiency. What will they do to compete with hybrid cars that can opportunistically deploy electric power?

I'm on the fence. If aero and chassis is nailed, it could work. Now look at how competitive Glickenhaus has been at times without hybrid power.

It's not just about performance. They could suffer in fuel consumption because of the lack of hybrid tech. They will pit more often, losing time.

I think it's refreshing. Everyone's going hybrid or electric. Nice to see someone holding out with pure ICE power. It’s more authentic to the Valkyrie’s roots.

It’s shooting themselves in the foot. Traction out of corners is helped by hybrid systems. The Valkyrie might suffer in mixed conditions.

Let's not forget weight savings. A lighter car is a car with no hybrid system. This could be an advantage on twisty tracks.

I believe the DBX 707 will retain its value better than most. This is their first SUV and Aston Martin has a very strong brand.

Luxury SUVs tend to depreciate quickly, and I don’t see the DBX 707 being an exception. It's too niche.

Its resale value might be helped by the exclusivity factor. That is not something you will see with every luxury SUV like you do with others.
