USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Volkswagen Vento Diesel AllStar Edition is a solid choice for those seeking a reliable and performance-oriented sedan in the Indian market. Despite its aged design, the Vento still impresses with its robust build quality and excellent on-road dynamics. The 1.5-litre diesel engine, producing 110 hp and 250 Nm of torque, is particularly noteworthy for its power and efficiency. The addition of cosmetic upgrades such as Linas alloy wheels, aluminium pedals, and a distinctive Blue Silk exterior paint in the AllStar edition enhances the vehicles appeal. However, it lacks some modern features that newer models offer, which might be a consideration for some buyers. Overall, its a well-rounded car that excels in comfort, performance, and fuel economy.
Price
The Volkswagen Vento Diesel AllStar Edition is priced at a premium over the standard Highline Plus trim. While the exact pricing was not disclosed at launch, it is expected to be around Rs. 30,000 more than the Highline Plus variant, which falls in the range of Rs. 10.88 lakh to Rs. 13.37 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). On-road prices would vary depending on the state and local taxes but can be estimated to be around Rs. 12.5 lakh to Rs. 15.5 lakh. This pricing positions the Vento AllStar Edition competitively against rivals like the Honda City, Hyundai Verna, and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz.
