The Toyota Fortuner is a mid-size SUV that was launched in the Indian market in 2009. The name "Fortuner" is derived from the English word "fortune." Toyota Kirloskar Motor's Bidadi facility in Karnataka assembles it from imported CKD kits. The other one is a 2755cc, 4-cylinder, in-line, DOHC, 16-valve diesel engine that is capable of churning out 204 HP and 420 Nm of torque when coupled to a 6-speed iMT. Whereas, it produces 204 HP and 500 Nm of torque with 6-speed automatic transmission.
