The 2024 Nissan Qashqai has received a significant exterior design refresh, featuring a new front grille with three-dimensional, comma-shaped elements in a high-gloss black finish. The headlights are sharper and include sequential turning lights on higher trim levels. The rear lighting elements now consist of four individual pieces with a distinctive super red shade. I think these updates give the Qashqai a more modern and sophisticated look.

Nissan has introduced new trim grades for the 2024 Qashqai, including the N-Design grade, which features body-coloured lower sections and unique 20 alloy wheels. The Acenta Premium is the new entry-level trim, starting at £30,135, and it comes with 17 alloy wheels, a 12.3 infotainment display, and a rear view camera. I believe these new trims offer more options for buyers looking for different levels of luxury and functionality.

The interior of the 2024 Nissan Qashqai has been updated with fresh patterned materials, premium finishes, and a new Alcantara strip extending from the dashboard to the rear seats. The centre console and upper dashboard have a new finish that resembles galvanised steel or carbon fibre. The infotainment system has also been upgraded to a 12.3 touchscreen with Google Maps, Google Assistant, and Amazon Alexa built-in on most trims.

Nissans ProPILOT driver assistance system has been enhanced in the 2024 Qashqai, offering features like self-steering on motorways and dual carriageways, and adaptive cruise control that adjusts speed based on sat-nav data. This system is available on the higher Tekna and Tekna+ trims. I think this technology makes long drives much more comfortable and safe.

Discussions and Questions Nissan Qashqai
Is the Nissan Qashqai really as bad as its reputation?
06 January 2025 09:32
It all depends on what you’re looking for. The Qashqai is fine if you want a no frills family hauler that’s easy to drive and park. If you care about driving dynamics or want something with character, though, you'll be disappointed. That's as plain yogurt as automotive can get.
If the Qashqais are so mediocre, why do so many people buy them?
06 January 2025 09:32
Car reviewers and enthusiasts aren’t representative of average buyers, that’s why. What most people want is something that’s reliable, comfortable, and easy to live with. The Qashqai does all of this without being a bank breaker.
How good is the interior space of the Qashqai?
06 January 2025 09:32
It's a mixed bag. The front space is great but the rear is tight for adults. The boot is a good size but the rear window is sloped which means it doesn't take tall items. It is a compromise between practicality and style.
So how does the Qashqai perform in snow and poor weather?
06 January 2025 09:32
I have the AWD version and it's been great in the snow. It's not Land Rover levels of capability, but you won't need them for bad weather or light off roading. It really helps with the extra ground clearance.
Does the Qashqai's popularity affect its resale value more (or less) than other SUVs?
06 January 2025 09:32
I do think the popularity actually hurts resale value. Prices are driven down by such an abundance of available used ones. On top of that, newer models are improving all the time, so older versions are less attractive.

Nissan Qashqai Discussion
The price is for manual transmission or auto transmision
Suggestion for Nissan the modified version of the DUSTER should be designed like the QASHQAI and if NISSAN can shorten the vehicle to sub 4 m mark and have 2 side folding seats at the back NISSAN should achieve tremendous success.
Nice caaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
