General information and overview

The Sesto Elemento is a limited‑run, Gallardo‑derived Lamborghini focused on radical lightweight construction: extensive carbon‑fibre use in chassis, body and mechanical components produces a kerb weight just under one tonne while a 5.2‑litre V10 delivers around 570 bhp and very rapid 0–100 km/h times, yielding class‑leading power‑to‑weight performance for its era. The car is essentially a track weapon in road‑clothing with stripped‑out interiors, minimal creature comforts, glued‑in seats and an emphasis on raw feedback rather than infotainment or sound insulation; that makes it exceptional for sprint performance and circuit days but impractical for daily driving. Only a handful were produced, which makes each example highly collectible and subject to significant price appreciation on the global market; sourcing parts and servicing requires specialist technicians familiar with Lamborghini’s carbon‑intensive architecture and Gallardo mechanicals. In India the model will appeal to collectors and track‑day owners who accept high acquisition and operating costs, limited practicality and the logistics of importing, registering and maintaining a near‑one‑of‑a‑kind supercar.

The Sesto Elemento is a limited‑volume Lamborghini built around an almost all‑carbon‑fibre structure that kept kerb weight below one tonne while using a 5.2‑litre V10 from the Gallardo lineage to produce in excess of 560 PS, yielding extraordinarily quick 0–100 km/h times (around the 2.5‑second mark) and an extreme power‑to‑weight ratio; it was conceived as a track weapon with minimal interiors, fixed racing seats integrated into the chassis and scarce comfort or safety features typical of road cars, and Lamborghini built only a handful of examples for collectors, with later street‑legal conversions appearing through specialist firms.

Our Verdict

Expert opinion and recommendation

I find the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento an extreme, single‑minded proposition — a near‑track‑only hypercar built around a carbon‑fibre monocoque that sacrifices everyday usability for astonishing power‑to‑weight and raw driving thrills. With roughly 570 bhp from a Gallardo‑derived 5.2‑litre V10 and a kerb weight around 999 kg the result is explosive acceleration and razor‑sharp handling that feels more like piloting a race car than a road car. Its spartan interior, minimal sound deadening and fixed seating position make long journeys impractical, but that is precisely the point: ownership is about exclusivity, track performance and collectible value rather than comfort or practicality. Rarity amplifies its appeal — factory runs were limited (reports of 20 units or fewer) — which also makes maintenance, parts and usable resale an entirely different ownership exercise compared with ordinary supercars. If you prioritise ultimate lightweight performance and a museum‑grade halo piece over daily usability, the Sesto Elemento delivers an uncompromising, intoxicating experience.

I find the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento to be an uncompromising, ultra‑limited track‑focused hypercar that’s about raw performance, extreme lightness and exclusivity rather than everyday usability; its sub‑tonne carbon‑fibre construction paired with the Gallardo‑derived 5.2‑litre V10 delivers breathtaking acceleration and razor‑sharp handling but sacrifices comfort, practicality and fuel economy, making it a collectible for those who prioritise track thrills and investment potential over daily driving.

Recent news and announcements

The Lamborghini Sesto Elemento, a limited-edition supercar, was initially planned to have a production run of 20 units, but due to lack of interest, it is believed that only 10 were actually produced. This rarity makes the Sesto Elemento highly exclusive and valuable. I think this scarcity adds to its allure among collectors.

Price

Pricing details and changes

New Sesto Elemento examples originally carried multi‑million euro price tags and, after taxes and duties, any import into India would attract exceptionally high costs; contemporary reporting places the original factory price around €1.8–€2.0 million (roughly Rs 14–16 crore when first sold) with some market reports and auctions valuing examples between about Rs 14–22 crore and higher depending on provenance. In India today, an ex‑showroom estimate for an import or grey‑market example would realistically sit well above those figures once customs duty, GST, registration and handling are added — several specialist outlets estimate that arrival costs could push an asking price north of Rs 30 crore on‑road for a rare, fully imported piece. On‑road pricing in India varies wildly by state (registration slabs, local taxes and insurance) and by the car’s provenance; I would expect final on‑road figures to be materially higher than published overseas sale prices because of import taxation and compliance costs. For a buyer in India the true cost is not just purchase price but also bespoke shipping, homologation (if applied), high insurance premiums and the specialised servicing network required, making ownership a commitment for collectors rather than typical supercar buyers.
December 13, 2025
In India there is no official, regular retail price or dealer network for the Sesto Elemento because the car was produced in extremely limited numbers and primarily sold to select customers, but contemporaneous reports and conversion/resale pricing put new price equivalents in the multi‑crore bracket—estimates when it was offered ranged from roughly €1.9–€2.6 million (which converts to around Rs 10.8–14.4 crore at historical rates) and dealerships/press listings that surface on the secondary market show similar multi‑crore valuations rather than a standard ex‑showroom figure for India. On‑road costs in India would therefore be highly individual: import duties, insurance for a limited‑run supercar, registration and homologation (if imported privately or as a used/converted street‑legal example) could add several crores to the purchase price, while maintenance, bespoke servicing and insurance premiums remain substantially higher than conventional supercars because of specialist parts and low running volumes.

Mileage

Fuel efficiency information

The Sesto Elemento is a high‑performance V10 with real‑world fuel consumption suited to occasional track use rather than efficient commuting; official or certified India cycle economy figures are not published and I would expect combined real‑world fuel figures in the low single digits km/l (similar to Gallardo‑based V10 models), which translates to very high running costs given premium fuel prices and frequent servicing needs — if mileage and operating cost are primary concerns, this is not a practical choice.
December 13, 2025
Real‑world fuel consumption for the Sesto Elemento in India will be very poor compared with road cars—expect single‑digit kmpl under normal spirited driving because the 5.2‑litre V10 is tuned for maximum power and the car is built for lap times not efficiency; running costs (fuel, tyres, servicing) are therefore significant and should be treated as a major ongoing expense when deciding whether to buy one in India.

It is finally live wire that Lamborghini will be unleashing its newest dark horse into the world.

Overview

It is finally live wire that Lamborghini will be unleashing its newest dark horse into the world. This dark horse carries the name “Sesto Elemento” with it and rumor has it that the automobile heavyweight will be rolling out only 20 units of the same all across the world. Three units will be available for three lucky aficionados in United States. Further production of the car will commence soon and 2013 is slated to be the lucky year. It is being ascertained by a high-end dealership in the vicinity of San Diego that they are receiving orders from multiple customers already. Lamborghini Sesto Elemento has a striking dynamic body structure that perfectly fits the description of an aggressive robust sporty car. With the body type of coupe` reflecting through its high roof, lower baseline and sleek side lines, this car is truly an attention-grabber.

The exterior is very impressive because of its dynamic design, the sleek windscreen, low sloping front and the enlarged projecting rear end. It is styled with ORVM indicator, alloy wheels, Xenon Headlamps and the body color bumpers. The interior provides seating capacity for two and maintains the ambiance and decor of a sports car. The leather seats are electrically adjustable and the steering column is also adjustable for the ease of the driver. The steering column made from finest wood grains is clad in leather. Climate control is efficiently attained by the Dual zone climate control and the tinted glass keeps the inside protected from the scorching sun. All the controls are present on the steering column thus enabling the driver to manage everything without a lot of movements.

Electronically operated door mirrors, remote fuel filler, remote boot and central locking options are also available. Auto viper with rain sensors and Auto headlamp options are also present. Safety is considered one of the top prorate and this is the only where the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento is ahead of you! The air bags are eight in number and with their front and side portions they absorb the impacts in collisions. Parking sensors aid the driver to park smartly and accurately. Fog lamp, Traction control, EBD, ABS and ESP are the other safety features included as standard in the car.

Exterior

About 90 percent of the structure of Lamborghini Sesto Elemento has been made using carbon fiber. The exact material is Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics commonly termed as CFRP. The company has come up with a new type of material for the exteriors which takes the projection of a 3D image through a rigorous process of validation, simulation, testing and ultimately production. Lamborghini has collaborated with Boeing this time for the development of Sesto Elemento. Both the front as well as the rear fascia bears the stereotypical Lamborghini sleek design. A startling fact is that Lamborghini Sesto Elemento does not carry paint with it and instead of that; it has fine crystals which give the shine to the outer body of the supercar. There are two openings on the front fascia of the car. Both of these openings are triangular-shaped and allow air to pass into the engine in order to keep it cool and in the best form. The lights are typically bi-xenon and 4 LEDs have been put into each unit. The overall designing of Sesto Elemento is off the hook and it defies all the resistance that can show up in case of aerodynamics.

Interior

The interiors of Lamborghini Sesto Elemento have been done up using carbon fiber monocoque tub which is something that has been seen in other Lamborghini models as well. An astounding is that our new dark horse does not have any seats in it. Rather, the cushions are fixed to the tub of carbon fiber. This in turn gives the driver a perfect feeling of a sports car as then he can easily feel the power of the engine. The steering wheel can be adjusted in many positions as per the convenience of the driver and adding to that, the posture of the pedals can also be altered in a longitudinal direction. The whole interiors consist of the CFRP material which totally gives the feel of a race car. A lot of weight-reduction tactics have been followed in order to optimize the performance of the car. If one sees closely, then they will also get to see the engine management system which is visible inside the cabin. Controls of the car are quite elementary. There are basically three switches out of which the first one serves as starter button and the second serves as reverse button. The third button is for the lights.

Engine and Gearbox

A car of this caliber will naturally be having immense firepower beneath its hood. Lamborghini Sesto Elemento boasts of a commanding V10 engine which gives out a power of 570 bhp with a power to weight ratio of 1.75 kg/hp. This engine facilitates all-wheel drive which makes it perfect for a race track. Thus, having such a diabolic engine would definitely make the car accelerate like a bat straight out of hell. Lamborghini Sesto Elemento blasts from 0-60 mph in a sweet 2.5 seconds. An aluminium crankcase is put to use by the engine and cylinder is tilted to an angle of 90 degrees. Both of these solutions are considered as a part of a whole sophisticated lightweight approach of engineering. Due to reduction of weight, the centre of gravity also decreases and enhances the characteristics of handling. Even the suspension of Sesto Elemento have been done up using carbon fiber.

Almost all the inner components are made up using carbon fiber and aluminium as both of these materials reduce the overall weight of the car thus collaborating in high-performance design of a vehicle. Lamborghini Sesto Elemento has an e-gear transmission control system as per which there is no specific gear knob as such. The gear is operated from the paddles which have been installed on the steering wheel. The transmission system has a six-gear setup which shifts the gears faster than a human. Lamborghini took assistance from its brother company Audi regarding all-wheel drive. The exhaust pipes are made using a glass composite material. This material consists of a compilation of synthetic resin and ceramic powder. All these features make the exhaust pipes more resistant to heat. Lamborghini Sesto Elemento is having a sturdy body which has been designed keeping aerodynamics in mind. When it comes to engine, V10 makes this beauty shoot up at a blinding acceleration rate and makes it achieve a top speed of 186 mph.

Safety Features

Lamborghini Sesto Elemento is loaded with one of the most advanced set of features which safeguards the driver as well as the passenger seated inside the cabin. Starting from airbags to ABS, EBD etc., everything is there in the supercar. The wheels of the car maintain a high rating of durability as well as traction control which prevents the car from sliding off course even if the road is uneven. Thus, Lamborghini has left no stones unturned when it comes to including safety features in Sesto Elemento.

It has been officially announced that Sesto Elemento will be produced, but only 20 will made in first batch.
